Band Profile
With the help of the most agreeable backing band in the
world “The Yes Men.”
Stephen McEwan has released his first solo recording “Fall
from Grace”
Musically, covering many roots-based genres. Folk, funk, country
& blues.
There is something for everyone in this collection of original
songs.
Lyrically, Stephen writes about people, places and issues that
have affected him
on his life’s journey. Snippets of life in a small town.
From the characters in your
favourite drinking hole, to the eternal riddle of the differences
between sexes.
An under-lying sense of humour is balanced with more serious
lyrical moments.
Songs from the heart, songs from the head, songs
for dancin’ feet.
This is the philosophy that embodies Stephens live performances.
Sourcing material from his current CD and past recordings with
‘The Bibbits.
As well as original takes on a few well chosen covers. Stephens
versatile vocals
take you on a compelling musical journey. Space and subtly or
in your face rockin’ out.
